Eyes of the Heart is the music group in Be Not Afraid Ministries. They present their meditative works all around the St. Louis Metro area. The group have been together for five years.

Julie Hickey has performed in many productions in local, regional, and New York theaters.  She is married to fellow actor, Christopher Hickey

 

Helen Gardiner is married to Bob and they have two boys.  Helen is an accomplished singer and songwriter.  She is a cantor with her local parish, St. Joseph's in Imperial.

 

Zip Rzeppa is the narrator with Eyes of the Heart. Zip is well known in the St. Louis area where he was a sportscaster and sports director with KMOV Channel 4.    Zip left the bright lights of television to work with the poorest of the poor for 10 years.  Zip now works for Covenant Network, a network of Catholic radio stations in the Midwest. .Zip is married to Kevan.

 

Ray Duffy worked for 26 years with Jefferson Smurfit mostly in the role of strategic planning. Married to his childhood sweetheart, Marie, for 38 years, he has two married sons and one grand daughter. His passion is in serving the Lord.

Declan came to America in 1994 with his wife Philomena and their three sons, Damien, Stephen and Raymond. In Ireland, Declan was a very successful business entrepreneur but came to St. Louis with the goal of serving God.

 

Dale Follen is married to Pam. They have two children, Don and Elizabeth. Dale is a parish organist and cantor in his home parish, St. Joseph- Manchester.

 

Paula Brown holds a B.A. in Music Therapy from Maryville College. She is a cantor and choir member at Immaculate Conception parish in Dardenne Prairie where she and her husband are coordinators for the marriage preparation program.
